MOUNT PLEASANT II HONORED WITH HISTORIC PRESERVATION AWARD
Facility Now Utilized As The Residences at Bulle Rock's Welcome Center

(Columbia, MD) - Thursday, June 9, 2005 - In a statement issued today, Brenda Desjardins, on behalf of The Residences at Bulle Rock, announced that Mount Pleasant II, the 18th century Havre de Grace Georgian mansion now utilized as The Residences at Bulle Rock's Welcome Center, is the 2005 winner of the Havre de Grace Historic Preservation Commission Award in the Commercial Building Category. The Historic Planning Commission, whose mission it is to safeguard the local heritage by preserving the cultural, social, economic, political and architectural elements of the area's history, presented the annual award. The official plaque will be displayed in the Welcome Center until Fall, 2005.

Compass Rose Design, specializing in residential marketing and custom sales centers, was entrusted with the responsibility of preserving the historic integrity of Mount Pleasant II while creating a functional and inviting Welcome Center. Kathy Baxter, President of Compass Rose Design stated, "Careful consideration was given to following the classic elegance of the rooms, where paint was used to highlight the architectural details while traditional fabrics and furnishings reinforced the feeling that you had stepped into someone's gracious home. We hope that the restoration work by the developer will ensure a long life to this handsome structure."

The 6,000-square-foot historical structure now serves as the Welcome Center for The Residences at Bulle Rock - an exquisite new community located in Havre de Grace, Maryland, offering resort-style amenities and situated around the award-winning, Pete Dye-designed public golf course. When touring the Welcome Center, visitors can view an impressive, extremely large topographic model illustrating the entire layout of the community as well as a breathtaking 180-degree view of the Susquehanna River and the Chesapeake Bay. Additionally, aerial views and highlights of The Residences at Bulle Rock can be seen throughout the Welcome Center - both in pictures and in a brief program shown on a large plasma television screen. Visitors also have the ability to meet with the community's recognized, award-winning builders including Clark Turner, D.R. Horton, NVHomes, Ryan Homes and Ryland Homes - all of which currently have sales offices on-site.

The Residences at Bulle Rock is a gated community located in Havre de Grace less than one mile off I-95 between Baltimore, Maryland, and Wilmington, Delaware, and will contain 25 individual neighborhoods - all named after significant facets of the area's rich heritage. The community will offer a diverse mix of housing options, including single family homes -- attached and detached -- townhomes and condominiums, all showcasing first floor master bedrooms and priced from the mid-$200's to the $400's.

Upon completion, the development will contain approximately 2,000 homes - all surrounding the Bulle Rock golf course, which is recognized as the best public course in the state of Maryland and listed as the third finest public course in the country by Zagat. Additionally, the course is also recognized by the readers of Golf Digest as one of only 16 courses in North America to receive a five star rating and is now home to the McDonald's LPGA Championship presented by Coca-Cola. The tournament takes place June 6-12, 2005.

Manekin LLC, Clark Turner Companies and H&S Properties Development Corporation, three of the region's most accomplished real estate companies, have partnered to create The Residences at Bulle Rock, which will be the region's finest community. The community offers the setting of a small town waterfront environment, yet is convenient to big city resources. Just a few miles from the Chesapeake Bay, this serene community will attract those buyers with a priority for location and a desire for a full, diversified lifestyle
