The LDC awards recognize development professionals who provide superior and creative development projects that are sensitive to the community and make appropriate use of the existing natural elements. With the slogan, "Life Imitates Vacation," The Residences at Bulle Rock is a resort-style community under development by Manekin, LLC; Clark Turner and H&S Development Corporation in Havre de Grace, Md. The community is being built around the five-star Bulle Rock Golf Course, home to the McDonald's LPGA Championship and Maryland's #1 public golf course. "Several important design characteristics also were employed to ensure that all 26 neighborhoods were separate, yet interconnected," said Brenda Desjardins, a spokeswoman for the community. "This provides a unique experience when driving or walking through this community, as no homes front directly on the main thruways." In addition to The Residences at Bulle Rock's receiving the top project award, its developer also received top honors.
