BULLE ROCK NAMED IN GOLFWEEK'S TOP 100 MODERN GOLF COURSES

HAVRE DE GRACE, Md.
(June 22, 2006) For the sixth year in a row, GolfWeek Magazine has included Bulle Rock in its ranking of "America's Best: Top Modern (post-1960) Courses." Ranked 89th, Bulle Rock was the only Maryland course to make the list.

"We are very privileged to be honored, once again, as one of the nation's Top 100 courses," said Richard Rounsaville, Bulle Rock's general manager and director of golf, noting that Bulle Rock has made the list every year since 2000. "It is a testimonial to the caliber of designer, Pete Dye, one of the foremost architects of the modern era."

Open since 1998, Bulle Rock is considered the top public course in the state of Maryland and one of the best public courses in the nation. A Golf Digest readers poll recently awarded the magazine's top five-star rating to Bulle Rock and only 16 other golf courses in North America and the Caribbean. It was the fourth consecutive time Bulle Rock was chosen for this honor.

Set on 235 acres of a lush horse farm, Bulle Rock rolls amid 100 feet of elevation changes. Fairways are lined with bluegrass and tall fescues which lend a classic look to the layout. Tall hardwood trees, natural rock formations and stone walls provide super back drops on many of the holes. Seven holes feature water, and at least that many are of signature caliber.

With a course rating of 76.4, a slope rating of 147 and a yardage of 7,375 the course will test the best of golfers. That's one reason why the LPGA chose Bulle Rock to host the McDonald's LPGA Championship from 2005-2010.

In addition to its 18 holes, Bulle Rock offers a double fairway range with an all-grass teeing area, a full-service locker room, a pro shop and a strong caddy program, as well as newly designed and expanded restaurant and banquet facilities.

Around the golf course, owners Manekin, LLC, Clark Turner Companies and H&S Development Corporation are developing a resort-style residential community called, "The Residences at Bulle Rock." With the slogan, where "Life imitates vacation," the project will comprise approximately 2,000 condos, villas and single-family homes; a 37,000-square-foot Community Center, and many other amenities for luxury living.

Bulle Rock is centrally located in Havre de Grace, Md., between Baltimore and Wilmington, De. For more information, call 410.939.8887 or visit www.bullerock.com.
