Press Release
THE RESIDENCES
AT BULLE ROCK SELLS ITS 500TH HOME
HAVRE DE GRACE, Md. (Mar. 23, 2007) – The
Residences at Bulle Rock, the area's #1 selling planned
community, has reached a milestone. The resort-style
community has sold its 500th home and, therefore,
is one quarter of the way through its sales process.
Realtors® Chuck and Candy Brennan purchased
the 500th home from NV Homes. They will settle
later this month and move in April.
Chuck and Candy, of the Brennan Real Estate
Team, work with Keller Williams Realty in its
Bel Air, Md. office. They are the parents of
a 20-year-old daughter, who lives with them when
she's not at college, and two grown sons in Waldorf,
Md. and Atlanta. They also have one granddaughter.
The Brennans originally moved to Harford County
in the 1970s, living in Edgewood, Abingdon and
Forest Hill. They relocated to Port Deposit in
2005, and were eager to return to Harford County,
but not too far from Candy's mother in Perryville.
Upon visiting The Residences at Bulle Rock this
fall, they were impressed by its centralized
location within minutes of I-95. Not to mention
that one of their sons is an avid golfer who
loves the five-star Bulle Rock Golf Course (home
of the McDonald's LPGA Championship), around
which the homes are being built.
Most of all, the Brennans said they were "drawn
to the development's way of life." According
to Candy, "the Community Center was very
important to us, as we wanted to be able to exercise,
swim and play tennis right there."
"We also embraced the social aspect and
the possibility of participating in activities
with people having common interests," added
Candy, who is eager to join the Bulle Rock Book
Club.
In terms of their future home, the Brennans
preferred new construction where they could select
the finishes. They also set out to find an energy-efficient
space that would accommodate all their furniture,
including a large dining room table.
Additionally, the Brennans' wish list included
not having to climb stairs to the bedroom and
laundry room, and not having to mow the lawn
or shovel snow. Plus, the couple needed a sizable
kitchen, ample storage and closet space, and
a two-car garage.
Ultimately, they selected an NV Homes Bella
Vista villa that "backs to the woods, giving
us the privacy we really wanted," Chuck
said.
The three-bedroom, three-and-a-half bath home
features all of the Brennans' preferences mentioned
above. Additionally, the finished basement will
feature a family room with a bar and fireplace,
a bathroom and a craft room with a kiln for Candy,
who enjoys making porcelain dolls, sewing and
smocking.
"We welcome the Brennans, who represent
our typical buyers at Bulle Rock," said
Brenda Desjardins, a spokeswoman for the community. "Our
buyers want the convenience of first floor living,
maintenance-free living and resort-style living."
"It speaks volumes that we have completed
one fourth of our sales in just two years," added
Desjardins, noting that buyers are coming from
as close as Harford, Baltimore and Howard counties,
and as far as Florida, Georgia, New Jersey, New
York, Delaware, Pennsylvania and Texas.
With the slogan, "Life Imitates Vacation," The
Residences at Bulle Rock is being developed by Manekin, LLC, Clark Turner and H&S Development
Corporation less than one mile from I-95, between
Baltimore and Wilmington, De.
Upon completion, the gated community will comprise
approximately 2,000 condos, villas and single-family
homes built by Clark Turner Signature Homes,
D.R. Horton, NVHomes, Ryan Homes and Ryland
Homes.
All homes will feature first-floor owners' suites,
open floorplans, vaulted ceiling, garages and
additional amenities for luxury living. For more
